Today I had some time before my doctor's appointment and started shooting some images for my photography class. The assignment was to capture images that were a series of something but with a conceptual twist. I chose long exposure. I'll get more up later this evening if I have time.

Portraits
Forgot to mention that I have been doing a little photography when I have time. The other week my friend, Ed, asked me to do his portrait for his family. I think they turned out pretty good. I forgot how "standard" Navy portraits are done and had to ad-lib. And it's been snowing so it was a good opportunity to capture some images of that. The other is of Freddie, my roommate and his car.
Spring 2013
This semester is shaping up to be pretty intense. 3 out of my 4 classes require online work or posting of some kind. This blog, as required by my Photography 3 class, hopes to detail my progress through this semester — hopefully with a lot of images posted.
On top of the academic work, my house is falling down around my ears. It's such a distraction to have to worry about a leaky — almost caving in roof. As God's provision would have it, the director of my church's military ministry is also a contractor and offered to help me replace the flat (leaky) portion of the roof (for a nominal fee).
